Langhans Gallery Prague

It is a photogallery that continues in the inheritance of a portrait studio of Jan Langhans. The goal is to open up an archive of about 8000 portraits of his Gallery of celebrities to everybody and to organize photographic expositions. The main theme of the expositions programme is the human being in both contemporary and historical photography. We would like to realize this programme in following forms: "TVÁŘE DOBY" (FRONTS OF THE ERA) - a proper programme of the Langhans Gallery Prague, which is also a free continuation of the Gallery of Celebrities. The photographers create portraits of many interesting contemporaries. "LANGHANS PRESENTS" - foreing photographic institutions, museums and galleries present their own collections, authors and themselves. "FOTOIMPULS" - Carte Blanche, a challenge for photography trustees. "GALERIE OSOBNOSTÍ" (GALLERY OF CELEBRITIES) - the exposition, publication and study of the archive will be covered by the Langhans Gallery.
