Smíchovská synagoga
Smíchov Synagogue is the second youngest Synagogue in Prague just after Spain. Was built in 1863 in neo-Moorish style, but then rebuilt in the early 20th Century (1931) style monumentalistickém. It was a very thorough and a large building, the main hall cellar, with hot air heating, decorated with murals, high stained glass windows and oracle. Romanesque building was completed with a protruding ledge kordonovou obloučkovým frieze boards and in the middle of the Decalogue. In times of communist regime served as a depot for nearby CKD. Was even intended for demolition, but památkářům building was saved. In 2004 she was refurbished and rebuilt the Jewish archives. Was added a new building, garden and surrounding buildings accordingly.
