ZOO in Dvur Kralove nad Labem
The zoological garden was founded in 1946. It offers the classical ZOO garden area with all the pavilions featuring more than 2,400 animals in their run-outs, the large summer run-outs featuring African ungulates and birds, and furthermore the African Safari where the visitors in the specially designed Safari Buses ride among the free-running ungulates and birds, while being informed about the animals by trained drivers. You can see the pavilion of predatory animals, birds, water-world species, hippopotamuses, tamarins or primates, and much more. The ZOO was established in the 1946. The whole area of about 60 hectares is available to the public. The programme offered here is made to provide the whole day visit. Modern toilets also for disabled people are available troughout the ZOO for free. The safari bus ride is included in the entrance fee and can be even repeated.
