Příbram
Příbram is a well-known historical royal mining town. The town is an attractive tourist destination, especially for its baroque national cultural monument Svatá Hora (Holy Mountain) and the biggest mining museum in the Czech Republic, with 35 permanent exhibitions. The oldest written document concerning Příbram dates back to 1216, when it was bought by the Prague bishop Ondřej. It lies at the foot of Brdy 60 km Southwest of Prague. It is accessible by regular buses, by rail and
by the motorway leading to the towns vicinity from Prague.
