Castle Lipník nad Bečvou
The city of Lipník nad Bečvou is an old town of so-called Moravian gate. One of the most interesting objects here is a Renaissance castle which was built between years 1596 and 1609. The building was initiated by Hynek Bruntálský from Vrba and his son continued. In the middle of the 17th century the family of Dietrichštejnové added the side wings to the castle and in the 19th century it was rebuilt in neo-Baroque style with some pseudo-empire components. The object is surrounded by a huge park from the 17th century with precious evergreen woody species. In the 19th century the green-houses were built. Right now the castle serves to the Municipal office of Lipník nad Bečvou. It is opened during visiting hours.

Vždy malá zastávka při cestě na hrad Helfštýn,který tu postrádám.

Jedná se o renesanční zámek, vybudován jako patrový s dvoutraktovou dispozicí. V zámku je nyní umístěn Úřad města Lipník nad Bečvou. Součástí zámku je Střešní zahrda, která prošla nedávnou rekonstrukcí. Na nádvoří si dále můžete všimnout, že zámek je obklopen nádherným zámeckým parkem. Vývoj parku byl ovlivněn fracouzskými styly, a později anglickým stylem, který je zde zachován dodnes.Základní kompozice je postavena na prosté kráse jednotlivých stromů na zelené ploše trávníků.
