Žebračka (přírodní rezervace)

National Wildlife Žebračka found at the North edge of town Prerov and on the right bank of the river Bečva. The area was declared a national nature reserve in 1949, occupies an area of 227.66 hectares and is at an altitude of 210 m. The National Wildlife Žebračka is floodplain forest in the alluvial plain Bečva hornbeam wood, beech, and very rich occurrence of different species of birds. In the undergrowth under the trees is a rich herb and shrub layer. It manages the protected plant varieties as sněžence nivalis, křivcům, orseji, sasankám medvědímu or garlic. The area is an important crossroads for bird moves. Around pools occurs many amphibians and invertebrates.
