Ruin Košumberk

Ruin Košumberk

Košumberk was founded in about 1300 and after a fire in 1573 it was rebuilt into a Renaissance seat. Later it became desolated after it became a property of the Jesuits. One part of the castle is also a romantic English park. There used to be many interesting buildings in the park but these days there is only the ruin of the castle and the Chinese pavilion. In the areal there is a stylish ceremonial room, a museum library and a lecture room.
