Castle Klenová

The large ruin of a Middle Age castle Klenová is situated about 10 kilometers from Klatovy. First notes about the castle Klenová come from 1291. It was built in neo-Gothic style, on a steep rock and it is surrounded by river Jelenka from two sides. In the 17th century it began to run riot. In the 19th century it was totally reconstructed in Gothic style. Today you can see there the defensive system and the bottom surrounded by a dig and a rampart.

Hezký výhled do okolí, celkem zajímavé, ale v porovnání s blízkým hradem Velhartice opravdu nuda...
