Nová Pec
Šumava small town Nova Pec is a famous summer resort and starting point for trips to the Bohemian Forest. Lies in the PLA in the Prachatice district on the right bank of the Lipno Dam in places where it begins backwater lake at an altitude of 744 m. The new furnace was founded as a settlement in the 17th Wood Century (first report dates from 1686) and were then to Cesky Krumlov dominion. In the period after the 2nd World War II was nearly expelled. Today is the center of summer recreation. In the village are preserved, no significant monuments. Only Šumava architecture reminiscent of the original renovated village houses with typical bell tower on the roof. The village is the starting point for trips to jezero to Schwarzenberskému shipping channel and the Bear Trail, the trail starts near the railway station Oat. Accessible by car throughout the year
