Paradise islands

It is a new exposition of the zoo in Děčín. There is a view of attractions of the worlds fauna and flora situated in a newly reconstructed building. You can find there endangered species of reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. Every visitor of the Paradise islands soon changes into a sailor and a discoverer who boards the ship called the Flying Dutchman. The visit of the Paradise islands is concepted as a trip around the world during which you can explore for example the wonderful undersea world or the tropical forests or the deserts. On the ground floor there is an old boat which shows the visitors the life on coral reefs. There is also a unique 6000 litres marine aquarium - the biggest one in the whole Ústecký region. The first floor represents some islands of the west part of the Pacific Ocean. The second floor shows the islands of southeast Asia and also the fauna of a tropical forest. The next floor represents the Carribean area and also the atmosphere of a semi-desert. On the fourth floor there is a ZooClub with unconventional furniture.
