The ZOO is situated in a picturesque valley of the Jihlavka river. There are sheets of water, afforested grades, meadows and rocks - all of this in the immediate vinicity to the town centre, just 10 minutes walking time from here. Access is from two directions - from the Masaryk square through Brnenska street or from the summer movie-theatre.
