This area is one of the most expansive regions of composed landscape in Europe and possible the world. It stretches out over almost 100 km² between the villages of Lednice, Valtice, Charvatská Nová Ves, and Hlohovec. The area is known as the pearl of South Moravia and here you can see rare species of water birds, for example, including many that have strayed from southern lands.
