A famous romantic castle of Bouzov is an exceptional monument, which has a touch of mystery to it thanks to its history. Here we can also see another extensive underground system called the Javoříčské caverns.The kilometers of tunnels, the ravines and the dripstone decorations are certainly worth of visiting. Another town in the region is Litovel, which is known for its beer. The Haná Outdoor Museum is located in Příkazy behind Litovel in the direction of Olomouc. It is a system of the folk earth buildings. The town of Šternberk is located approximately twenty kilometers in the east direction of Litovel; it is an ancient town featuring the castle and its landscape park. There are severalinteresting tourist targets between the town of Hranice and the town of Lipník nad Bečvou, which is the urban conservation area. Some of these targets could be the well-known Hranická ravine, the Zbrašovské aragonite caverns in the neighborhood of the spa town of Teplice nad Bečvou, and the castle of Helfštýn, which has become the place for a traditional meeting and competition of the art metalworkers called Hefaiston. The wooden windmill called Skalička is located just a few kilometersaway and it is accessible after the phone call schedule in advance.

We can find the following cities and towns in the southern area below Olomouc: Prostějov (featuring the manor), Plumlov (featuring the museum exhibition and another manor), Přerov, Náměšť na Hané (featuring the manor), Čechy pod Kosířem, and the ancient town of Kroměříž. Kroměříž is called the Haná Athens for its beauty, historical sights and cultural tradition. The archiepiscopal manor features thePodzámecká and Květná gardens and the episcopal mint, all of which have been placed on the List of UNESCO Monuments of Cultural Heritage. The hunting lodge of Olomouc archbishops called Chropyně is located nearby Kroměříž and it features the exhibitions of historic weapons. The town of Holešov is located in the east direction of Kroměříž and it has been an important center of the Jewish community in Moravia since the 15th century. Major parts of the original Jewish quarterincluding the school, the religious study room and the hospital have been preserved until these days. The museum exhibition called "Židé a Morava" (Jews and Moravia) is located in a renaissance synagogue built in 1560. The outdoor museum called "Soubor lidových staveb východní Hané" (Collection of Folk Architecture Buildings of Eastern Haná) is located in Rymice. From here, it is only a few steps to the town of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, above which the important place of pilgrimage calledSvatý Hostýn is located and it features the pilgrim basilica of Nanebevzetí Panny Marie.

Just come to see this region. By walking, on a bicycle, or by riding a horse, a new knowledge experience will always be your reward. The Central Moravia is a region of the folk traditions, fertile fields, sun and the kindhearted and hospitable local people.
