Orlicke Mountains
The Orlické Mountains are the range of mountains located in the northeast of the Czech Republic on the border with Poland. The region had been proclaimed the nature reserve area in 1969. The harsh and the precipitation-rich climate of the entire area is considerably affected by this approximately 31 to 37 miles (50 to 60 km) long mountain massif with elevation of about 3,281 ft / 1,000 m ASL. The snow lasts for about 4 month a year. The highest peak of the mountain range is Velká Deštná
