Sumava and Bohemian Forest
The Šumava and Bohemian Forest are one of the oldest mountain ranges in Europe. The mountain massif stretches along the southwestern border of the Czech Republic and Germany. The Novohradské Mountains smoothly connect to it in the southeast. Therefore, the total length of the mountain belt is about 124 miles (200 km).
