Krásnohorská Cave
Krásnohorská Cave
Krásnohorská Cave is a unique carst formation, created by the activity of the underground stream Buzgó. The Cave is inscribed on UNESCO´s World Heritage List. An underground trail of 450 m has been open to the public that will take you to a gigantic sinter cave roof, 32 meters high. This unique formation has also been listed in the Guiness Book of Records as the highest sinter drip stone in the world. As the terrain of the trail is rather difficult, wooden footbridges above the underground stream, ladders and rope traverses have been installed for the visitors. This makes the walk even more enjoyable and the cave easily accessible to majority of the visitors.
