Velká Fatra
Velká Fatra je jedním z nejkrásnějších pohoří na Slovensku. Přírodní hodnota tohoto území byla již roku 1973 důvodem k vyhlášení chráněné krajinné oblasti. Od roku 2002 je toto území národním parkem Velká Fatra NAPAVF. Nejvyšší horou pohoří je vrchol Ostredok (1592 m.n.m.).
